We were impressed when Senator Mike Crapo told us he set out last year to have a town meeting in every incorporated town in Idaho. He admitted that he didn’t realize at the time that would be more than 200 towns he would need to make a stop in.
This week he told the Times-News he is at the halfway mark in just under a year. It is refreshing to see a politician who is taking the time to get out and listen to his constituents in their home towns and who is not just focused on showing up for photo ops or fundraisers.
