Boise, ID – Today, U.S. Senator Mike Crapo announced the team for his 2016 re-election campaign. The Crapo for Senate campaign team will be headed by senior advisors Todd Cranney, Travis Hawkes and Sarah Nelson of Riverwood Strategies. The Riverwood team most recently oversaw the strategy and management of Congressman Mike Simpson’s re-election victory in one of the nation’s top primary battles of 2014.
Cranney has served in high-level leadership, strategy and management roles with multiple national and statewide campaigns including the Romney for President 2012 campaign. Hawkes served as the Idaho Finance Chairman and on the National Finance Committee for the 2012 Romney for President campaign. Nelson has extensive campaign management and battleground state experience and oversaw activities in 17 west and mid-west states for the 2012 Romney campaign. All three are Idaho natives.
